Back in the Wye Valley!
After spending the Spring living in the French Alps skiing and climbing Wintry things I returned to the UK to find some unexpectedly warm weather. I was keen to get out climbing on the rock and soon found myself being sun blasted at Wintour's Leap on some of the more esoteric E1's which I'd wanted to do.
After getting used to climbing on Limestone again after such a long break I took Mike and Alice out on a Rock Climbing Development course for some lead climbing practice, again in full on summer conditions! We learned some important lessons like how to lower off from a sports route. and why putting sun cream on your hands before starting up a polished limestone route is not a good idea. Alice even completed her first lead climb!
